The Perennial Gathering isn’t just another conference. Your fee includes a leadership training, curated convening, and restorative retreat—all integrated through Perennial’s soil-building and Leadership 3.0 methodology.

Training

A leadership intensive rooted in two decades of Perennial’s work.

Each participant joins a small cohort, guided by experienced Perennial facilitators. Through daily Morning Gatherings and interactive sessions, you’ll strengthen your inner capacities, explore our soil-building framework, and gain practical tools for leading with clarity, courage, and connection.

Conference

A convening designed for meaningful, peer-to-peer connection.

The Gathering includes all the essentials of a great conference—engaging sessions, opportunities to share your work, and time to connect. What’s different is the design. Sessions are collaborative and grounded in real experience. Networking might look like taking a walk through the forest with someone you’ve just met. With a balanced mix of funders, system stewards, creatives, and social change leaders, the pace and scale make space for the kinds of conversations—and relationships—that don’t happen elsewhere.

Retreat

Held in the forest town of Karuizawa, the Gathering offers time to pause, reflect, and reconnect.

The venue is a Japanese five-star resort where hospitality is a practice of care—you’ll be deeply looked after in every detail. Between sessions, you can step into the forest, walk the quiet paths, or simply rest. Spaciousness is woven into the design, so you leave not just inspired—but renewed.

Pricing

The Perennial Gathering uses a shared-responsibility model based on your financial capacity and organizational size:

$4,950 USD: for individuals and organizations with annual budgets under $5M
$6,950 USD: for foundations, investors, and institutions with budgets over $5M

This all-inclusive fee covers:

Four nights at a 5-star resort
All meals and refreshments
Full leadership training and programming
